Native Token for Asset Input
MATIC is the utility token of the second-layer blockchain Polygon, upon which MetaTrace is based. It is necessary as an alternative form of token for NFT purchases in TraceMarket. In the game, tokens are not used.
Polygon (formerly known as Matic Network) is a scalable blockchain platform designed to address the scalability issues and high fees faced by users on the Ethereum blockchain. Polygon provides the infrastructure for creating and deploying decentralized applications (DApps) and blockchain solutions.
Within MetaTrace, MATIC is stored in the integrated TraceWallet and is used for paying transaction fees (gas), as well as for buying and selling NFTs in TraceMarket.
Currently, to get MATIC into your TraceWallet, you can send it from another wallet where you have MATIC.
